The Dutertenomics at Pilipinas Ngayon Na Business and Lifestyle Magazine

When I was conceptualizing the Cover Story for Pilipinas Ngayon Na Business and Lifestyle Magazine, President Duterte was just on his first year in office. Not much has been heard of his economic agenda as the Philippine media's attention was hooked to his crusade against illegal drugs. I told Usec. Rivera, the Publisher: "Why not make our cover story different? "The Dutertenomics".  Why did it land in the hands of the President?  Nobody gave him a copy.  I was told that He saw it from a member of the Knights of Rizal who was present in the crowd while the President was about to lead the flag-raising ceremony at Rizal Park. It was during  Jose Rizal's death anniversary in  December 2017, when the maiden issue of Pilipinas Ngayon Na Business and Lifestyle Magazine was published.  I was told by Usec. Rivera that the cover caught the attention of Pres. Duterte.  So he approached the man holding the magazine   and asked for a copy. Then he reads: "The Duternomics".
